Martin Luther King, Jr.

Good Evening!  I thought I would pop in to give you a little Thursday Inspiration!

Today we started our study about Martin Luther King, Jr.  We learned all about his life and and his famous "I have a dream..." speech.  We talked about our dreams to make the world a better place and then I had the students journal on this topic for a bit.  I love reading these, they are so interesting!

The students then wrote some of their dreams on a dream cloud. I just took white construction paper and cut it out in the shape of a cloud.   Here are two examples:

While they were working on this I took all the students pictures and printed them.  We cut them out and glued them on construction paper with their dream cloud glued on the top. Here are a couple examples of our finished product:

Hope this gives you some inspiration for your upcoming Martin Luther King, Jr. lessons! Have a great night!
