Today we started our study about Martin Luther King, Jr. We learned all about his life and and his famous "I have a dream..." speech. We talked about our dreams to make the world a better place and then I had the students journal on this topic for a bit. I love reading these, they are so interesting!
The students then wrote some of their dreams on a dream cloud. I just took white construction paper and cut it out in the shape of a cloud. Here are two examples:
While they were working on this I took all the students pictures and printed them. We cut them out and glued them on construction paper with their dream cloud glued on the top. Here are a couple examples of our finished product:
