Today I want to share one of the best additions I have added to my classroom this year. Learning Targets! We all know posting expectations/standards to be very important to student learning, but actually taking the time is another story. I have vowed that I will do this EVERY day this year; it is now part of my routine before I leave school to prepare for the next day. My students always know what we are studying and what I expect after we complete a lesson. The students do not have to wonder about what we will be learning about each day and they have a clear understanding of what I expect them to know and be able to do at the end of each lesson. Here is an example of what my board may have on it on any given day:
