Continents

Hello All!  I am excited to share with you our latest research project.  We have been learning about the seven continents in our classroom.  We spent a couple weeks learning about each continent and then each student chose a continent to research on their own.  Their job was to look up the weather, cool features, population, landmarks and other neat facts about their continent.  This was a four part lesson.  After research they drew a postcard showing the cool landmarks and visitor spots in their continent.  Third, they had to write a persuasive paper with the intent to persuade a tourist (me)  to come to their continent.  Lastly, they used salt dough to make their continent and paint it.  They were allowed to include some cool landmarks if they chose.  Below you can see our journey in pictures:
