Where did summer go? Summer seemed to go so fast this year! We have 5 days before the students officially come back. I thought I would get myself back in the practice of updating my blog again since I have been slacking on this since April. Today I want to show you a cute little project I completed over the summer for my reading center. First I went and got the following supplies:
Decorative Pillow Inserts Acrylic Paint Fabric Glue
I painted the pillows on one side only. You can do two sides, I just chose to do one side. Let your pillows dry. After this I cut out letters R-E-A-D. I just drew these as best as I could myself then cut them out. After this I glued them to the pillows. Here is my finished product. It really dazzled up my reading center! I love it!
Next week I will post some pictures of my new classroom set up this year. I changed rooms this year and I am loving my new classroom. Have a great weekend!
